I went to the see the movie yesterday. The cinematography is absolutely amazing. I haven't read the book so I can't really comment on how it compares. That being said, I think everyone who's even remotely interesting in the film should go see it. It's amazing. The only grip I had with the movie was that it's a tad slow at points.

I haven't read the book as well but still went for the movie and it was amazing!
The cast,plot and effects used is awesome, just enjoyed the movie

The cinematography is amazing indeed but the plot leaves things to be desired imo.
Still worth seeing though.

This was the first movie I loved from this year. Aesthetically it was beautiful, best 3D I have seen.

It has a special ability to draw you in and let you get lost in the fantasy
