With that price you can buy a brand new car or pay towards your mortgage. Even let say that the price will be cut after 1 or 2 years, but to how much? 15,000 or 10,000? I wonder personally that who will buy this tv? Unless I have around 20 million dollars I might spend that much money for that TV![]()

I suppose one has to come before the other, look at CPU's, AMD brought out 64 bit CPU well before 64bit OS's were popular.

We have it here, and in person this is TV is beautiful!!!! but, it is really expensive now and there's nothing in 4k right now. Other than that, if i had the money i would've bought it on the spot for sure.

Helluva price tag on that TV, if I had the money I would definitely buy it. For that price though, they should through in one of the girls that stand by the TV's at shows!

You'd probably be able to see movies that are shot at 4K or lower. Most are shot at 2K now with the RED cameras. But apparently the Hobbit is shot at 5K resolution. So, in a sense, it's way ahead of its time.

Um, Even when the price is down, if there isn't a flooding area of content for this type of set, I won't get it.

It hasn't reached mass market appeal yet so I'm betting the quality will be there. I'd buy it if I could afford it. Wish Sony would return manufacturing to Japan and USA. I wish the USA and Japan would lower corporate taxes to help facilitate an ideal manufacturing environment.

The bigger question is...
Who is going to buy the 110" Westinghouse 4K TV for $300,000?

Go home Westinghouse, you're drunk!

If I was rich and high then yes I would buy one!.
I'll just wait until it becomes affordable, like in the $1,200 range.
