Everytime someone likes a post I get spammed an email I check my user panel and couldnt see how to stop this.

UserCP > General Settings > Email Notification of New Private Messages: > turn it off

I've noticed it as well. There is an option to disable certain email notifications in your account settings but nothing to do with Likes.

UserCP > DBTech > Emails > Disable Emails
That should fix it.

As F34R stated its in you profile settings...
But it could be just a link to the e-mail you are using
Switch addresses and it should work... Or reput the address in again and it might reset it
