We have a great competition for you guys and girls! You can win a PlayStation 3, a PlayStation Vita and three games to play on them courtesy of PSU and Ripstone Games.

This is only open to UK residents as we can only post the prizes to UK addresses. Please don’t enter unless you’re from the UK as we’ll have to re-draw at the end.

Just to let you know how we arrive at a result. We take all the user names who have entered from the forums, Facebook, Twitter and homepage and then put them into an excel spreadsheet in a column in sequentially numbered order. We then open another spreadsheet that lists the numbers in one row without the names. We then randomly mix the numbers so they're not sequential. We then use a random number generator http://www.random.org/ to choose the winners. If the chosen number is 50 for example we look at what number is on row 50 in the second spread sheet and then take that number and check it off on the sequentially numbered list of names to see who wins. Bingo.

If we were going to fix it surely we'd choose one of our regular forum members not someone who has just joined. We do want our regular members to win stuff though so I think if we do have major prizes in the future perhaps we should look at people who have posted over a certain amount of times.

I dont know if im convinced Steven im sorry.You mite aswell of told me that you put all entries into a hat and picked 1. Simple answer but what ever the case the fact that it just so happened to be the last entry on the last day to win the BIG PRIZE???? coincidence maybe? The runner up SUPRAGAZ should of at least had the main prize im sure you guys could of done that as the other winner was a newcomer? And as for limiting the comps to users with a certain number of posts i still dont like that but its better than this for sure. I ama a massive fan of this site and a active user for near everything other than the forums for a good few years now or since ps3 birth even but i do participate here n there so my post count isnt gonna be that high at all. But im on PSU nearly everyday and its been my number 1 source for PS3 info even though its been late with alot of news many of time i still stuck with you guys! Now im starting to think this is a site for forum heads and if im not gonna get the same love just coz someone has 500 more posts than me then I begin to wonder why do i stick around too! If it was up to me id just make it so u can only enter if u are a member for over a year or 2. Id have no issues with that! hope you understand guys!
