I was browsing car dealer web sites and noticed in the 'build your own' options at a few places there were some packages that had 'air conditioning' as an added feature! WTF!?!

Do people really buy new cars in,today, in 2012 without AC?? What do you guys think?

Here in UK its not needed so much.

3 out of 5 cars I owned did not have AC.
1 didnt work.
The others that did 1 rarely got used because it uses gas/juice/petrol.
The one I own now I bought last month so have only tested it to make sure it works which it does.

Yes they do up north in the US they do I live in FL so obviously most cars have ac lol

We had about 1 week in MArch when it was hot (around 25C) but after that its rained alot so much so This year has been the wettest on record.
My garden whenever it rains gets saturated ad causes big puddles of water to form on the grass.

i know a few people who live there and hate it and just wants to come to aus for the weather. here it was 40C few days ago or yesterday. the only downside is the mosquitoes at night

Like the UK, it rarely gets so hot you will need AC.

Interesting, I see. So it's pretty much where I live then. From 100F+ days to the single digits. Personally I do like the windows down on a nice day but yeah.
