Can't sync trophies

Hello. I apologise if I should have stuck this enquiry in another thread or something.

For the past few weeks now I have not been able to sync my trophies on my PS3. I have not changed anything in my network setup (I use a cable from my PS3 to my modem) and now when I try and sync, the progress stops at 10% (and it takes a while to get there).
I've also not had or got any problems with my internet connection as everything else runs fine.

Any ideas that might be able to solve my problem?

Synced my trophies last night and it took a lot longer then usual, so it might just be more then the normal amount of users are syncing trophies

Hmm, okay. How long do you reckon it took, in comparison to usual?

I wonder, do you have a lot of trophies? (Nearly 4000 or more?) It took awhile between 5% and 11% to the point I actually thought it froze at 10% so I just flicked over to the TV and watched something for a bit. To my surprise after I flicked back it was all synced.

Nah, I'm only at about 300.

Hmm, maybe it's not just me. I'll try and leave it for a while and see what happens I guess.

Cool, I left it for about 5 minutes and it got there eventually. That's a pain, but I guess it got there in the end.

I had that problem years ago. It would sync my trophies to about 75% while taking forever. Nothing worked for me. Finally an update came along and i was able to sync them a couple weeks later.

I was thinking along those lines. I thought that I wouldn't be able to sync until another update came out, but I gave it some time and it finally worked. It's not right though.

Syncing trophies was better last night, so must of just been an activity thing slowing it down

Maybe a lucky break for you.

When I initially spoke of syncing, my attempts were spread over two or three days, spanning over two weeks!

When it happened to me i just kept getting errors. Sometimes it would make it to 75% or so. Other times not even close. It was driving me nuts. I tried dozens of times a day to no avail.
