Anyone else going to boycott Dead Space 3?

I still think it's very shitty of how EA fired the original team in Australia just to bring the game in house so I won't be playing this game. Even if they brought some people on board it just reminds me of how much the industry has changed for the worse.

I bet EA didn't think anyone would remember

I only boycott games when they suck. I do not care what it takes to get the game made.

They could say that 25 puppies lost their right foot in the making of the game. If the game is good, I will buy it.

If you are the only one or one of the minority they dont even care about your 60 bucks as they earn millions and millions.

The truth is that boycotting a game is completely pointless if it isn't somehow communicated to the publisher that it's going to happen. You don't prove anything by doing that. The best you can do is buy games 2nd hand instead imho. You get to play the game and EA doesn't get your money. There is no point in denying yourself a potentially good game experience in order to send a message that'll never be heard.

No, I won't boycott for a reason like that. Sadly, it's just business and these things happen. Visceral etc. would have been well aware of any threats their company could face.

On the other hand, I won't pay full retail either. Not one of my 'must buy' games so I'll happily wait until it is sub £15 here in the UK.

To clarify.. Visceral Games is located in California. Something the guys on the last Podcast Derailed got wrong too, saying they were in Montreal.

Man I need me some Dead Space 3 NOW.
