http://www.myfoxal.com/story/2043718...-full-of-rocksTALLADEGA COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -Scam artists worked to ruin Christmas this year for one Talladega boy.
The boy's mom bought her son a Nintendo gaming system but when the boy opened the box there was no Nintendo. Instead the box was full of rocks wrapped in tissue paper.
The mom bought the Nintendo from a Wal-Mart in Talladega. She explained to the store what happened, and the store gave her a new Nintendo.
"Check your merchandise. Just check it before you leave the store, make sure it's in there and don't get home and be surprised, like if you found what I found," the mom said.
A similar scam is going on involving iPads. Instead of an iPad being inside the box, it's filled with notepads.
Wal-Mart tells us this is happening because people buy the merchandise and then return it to the store with the items missing. Employees are now checking the returned merchandise.
lmao, porn and now rocks.... What next parts of actual dead kids

Not sure how this even happens since the employees are supposed to open the box and compare the serial number from the device, with the serial numbers on the receipt.

This reminds me of when I worked at Target. I sell a guy an xbox(reg with hard drive before slims). Like 5 min later went by and I went to get my returns and there was the xbox. I open it, mind you seal was broke, and the guy switched his bricked one with that one. He peeled sticker off. I mean it was so obvious. Asked customer services why they didn't call me because they suppose to and she just said because no one ever respones so I didn't bother lol.
Also the year the flip style gba came out day after christmas at bes buy they didn't even bother checking the product and we had least 50 of the older style returned lol

Funny how this went on the news, because the other day while returning something to Toys R Us, I overheard one of the employees talking about how they received one also with rocks and screws.
