    If you have a game like say Madden, that is hosted on EA servers, wouldn't it be possible to mate the Xbox version to the PS version?

    If you have the PS version of Madden going through PSN and lands on the EA server..and you have the Xbox version of Madden going through XBL and lands on the EA server...couldn't you then, at that point while it is on the server, mate the two together?

    It seems doable, because they did it with Final Fantasy XI Online on the Xbox 360. It let you play online with PS2 and PC players because it connected via Xbox live, but through another online service that had to also be connected to (kinda like MGO).

    Does that seem farfetched?

    Of course they CAN do it but do they WANT to do it?

    Its the itnernt you can probably connect any part of it to any other part I imagine.

    Oh certainly I agree.

    But I don't think they will be keen to do so (MS or Sony). Maybe companies like Activison or EA or Ubi.
