My PS3 has been on for 9 hours!

Iam trying to get Platinum in Rachet and Clank HD the first one, and there is one dam Trophy. You need to have 1 million bolts. There is no way you can get that during the game play as you will not earn much. There is a glitch were you will keep getting bolts. I have placed my PSP box and on my PS3 controller and directlt on "O" to keep sucking the bolts. Right now, Iam at 621,000 bolts and still need more. Has anyone did that

Yeah, brother lol we have to be like that sometimes. I should have now around 100 Platinum but since last May. I have stopped getting Trophies and just playing games.

You have to no choice. That is the first Ratchet And Clank were you go to earn bolts are so little and no chance to increase the ammount. I remmeber with other Ratchet games it wasn't hard to get 1 million bolts. With this one my friend is so deadly and no way for you get 1 million not even finishing the game 6 times.

Still, that would kill the fun of the game. A trophy is something i need to feel like i really earned. Or else i would just play the games for the trophies and not for the actual game.

Nah my friend that is not called fun, its called hell. There is no you want to spedn 1000 hours to get 1 million bolts lol.

I remember earning an achievement for Garry's Mod where you had to play on the same server and map for 8 hours.

But I wouldn't bother with a trophy/achievement if I had to exploit a glitch to earn it. Even if it's a game I really enjoyed playing.

Yeah I wouldn't call glitching to get that one spectacularly grinding tedious trophy taking away from the fun of the game. You probably had enough fun with the game getting to the stage where you are now (in need of 1 trophy for plat)

I hope there is a more effecient way of earning this trophy however, as I recently purchased both the Jak and Ratchet HD collections but I'm yet to play 'em - I was told the plats were easy

Platinumed all three HD ones. The first is the worst just because of that trophy but the rest are relatively easy, especially if you played them on PS2 already since you'll know where the gold/titanium bolts are and skill points. Oh and make sure you do the glitch in challenge mode since more bolts=faster.

You would have to bet the game around 10x while picking up every bolt, that takes out the fun.

I don't think what he's doing is wrong at all. I would do the exact same thing. There's a point where some trophies are bullshit. Like the Mortal Kombat ones.

You have to have each character from roster used 24 hours. Think about that for a second. Do you know how long it would take to do that trophy if you were playing faithfully? Or, you could leave your ps3 on for 24 hours in case you're away from home for more than that...but since we're not, and we're worried about leaving a ps3 on for so long, then that trophy becomes complete and utter bullshit. And don't even get me started on online trophies.

Its the difference between being a trophy hunter and just playing the game for fun. I've got no problems with people doing tricks to get trophies easier. It is how they have fun playing the game. Hell, I came from a trophy site. Haha.

That trophy reminds me of one for Disgaea 3 where you have to 'play' for like 10+ hours straight or something ridiculous. I just left the game running, turned off the TV screen, and went to bed. DING! when I woke up.

You are right brother and I have tried everything in the game but there is way for you get 1 million bolts by just playing.

I don't care if its a glitch, it just a game, glitches in the past were turned into legit gameplays supported by developers.

Quake - Bunnyhop. Quake 2, 3 & 4 it was coded in on purpose but tweaked so you had to press forward for it to work and air strafing is lessened.

HL1DM - Gauss jumps, makes gameplay alot more interesting and faster.
