Praying that the next gen is not just a big jumped up version of what the Wii did this gen for casual gamers. I'll never buy a Kinect game, it's not how I like to play. Hoping for some good hardcore, controller driven, titles.

It won't be P8 given that's not even had a release date announced yet (I suspect early 2014). I wonder if they would use the P7+ though, although it looks like they've already settled on L3 cache size and clock speed which aligns more closely to the P7.

In any case, the Power 7 CPU is a sexy nice thing to have!

Meh, I wouldnt take the bunch of drivel I read on that thread as any indication of people who have any idea what they are talking about. BUt at the same time Im taking everythjng with a pinch of salt.

I just hope 60 fps and maybe 1080p become the norm, but this is more or less up to the devs as they can choose to either go high quality but less performance or vice versa.

i would take the 720 out of what will been shown at MS E3 stand this year

they will most likely focus on exclusive dlc's for games coming out and new hardware for future systems they will be releasing before the 720

No way that's going happen again. They should be content with Rockstar even getting GTA V and it's seemingly huge game world to run on the Xbox 360.

Doubt this. 720 is coming. They will do what they did last time. Announce the 720 at at a pre E3 event, then kick into at E3 itself proper.

My money is on...

Crysis 3, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Ryse, Gears Judgement, Alan wake 2, & GTA V all having nex gen versions coming.

You aint going to hear jack about DLC because MS knows they don't need to. They are already well ahead of Sony launching.

Expect 1313, and watchdogs as well.

Yea, and those have popped up quite a bit. Hopefully there is merit to them and that's what will be in the final consoles and devkits being shipped. The biggest "?" right now is the GPU. We can kind of make accurate guesses about the CPU given it seems that an 8 core design is the most often rumored\leaked from sources. That only leaves certain designs on the field, especially from IBM.

Like their Jaguar\bobcat cores.

But the AMD GPU.... That's the real mystery to me imo. And the surrounding architecture. Will it have Edram? Dedicated graphics memory?
