Wow. The fact we have something so early makes for something BIG. If indeed they showcase the next Xbox I hope they concentrate more on hardcore gaming opposed to Kinect and other non-interesting gimmicks (at least for me).

Well, most of the solid rumors have it this thing is now taped and they have finally fixed whatever issue they had with chip yield. Which means it looks liek we are going to be getting a new toy at Xmas time.

correction US will be getting a new toy at Xmas time. I doubt, after the world wide launch shortage they did last time, that this thing will see a PAL release for a few months. But who knows, if they can build enough stock up.

Microsoft has been attending the Electronic Entertainment Expo video game-based trade show, better known as E3, since it started in the mid-1990s. This year's E3 will officially be held on June 11-13 in Los Angeles but typically Microsoft holds a pre-E3 press conference in LA the day before the trade show officially starts.
Today, the Major Nelson website, run by Microsoft's Larry Hryb, did something that it has never done before. It posted a countdown clock that will reach zero when E3 2013 begins. Hryb's only statement on the post was, "And it’s on…"

Well, that's depending on the price. You can also just throw in a low memory console with kinect. Do a little advertising and there you go. Plus you have your previous base that's gonna buy it if they see a familiar game. Too many variables.

The kinect hype has slowed down a bit, it sold fantastically well within the first few months but to shift their new console MS will depend on the hardcore gamer. Plus, with all the rumours and leaks it suggests they will have a pretty powerful beast. I'm expecting like $400

I just hope they do away with the usual floating face tech demos taking up all of the console's memory and pre-rendered cutscenes. Show us the games you're actually working on. I don't think it's too much to ask.

I plan on attending e3 this year only if they plan on unveiling the next Xbox and playstation4. It is best to attend e3 when a new console launch because it gives you a chance to speak to developers and game designers to learn the ins /out of each system.

I hope they have a the next xbox with NO kinect for a cheaper price but with the same hardware and stuff if possible, i don't wanna waste money on useless things ( same goes with SONY and ps4)
