honestly Witcher 2 suprised me more than anything... freaking amazing game on the 360... would even totally re-buy it if they released it on PS3.

I've got a few to throw out there, spec ops... Of course, great story like behind it, kind of short but still good with great multiplayer experience, graphics were great too! FF 13-2 was also another excellent good one, amazing story, excellent graphics! Dragons dogma, although a short game unless played thoroughly and doing all the quests/side quests great game! Assassins creed 3, probably another great one, near perfect experience, journey was as well a great one! But my choice would have to stick with Far Cry 3! Great load of gameplay, multiple upon multiple hours of gameplay including side quests, an main story quests! Great FPS/RPG combination of a game, great multiplayer experience, co-op and multiplayer versus! Overall great game, for sure a winner IMO

Far Cry 3 for me, Didnt like the first 2 but FC3 was easily the game i played all year and in my top 5 this gen.

Far Cry 3 for me. I picked it up for $40 with a gift card from xmas and didn't expect much from it, I can spend 4 hours wandering around the jungle doing nothing and still have a great time.

Kingdoms of Amalur, I knew it'd be good, but everything's well done : combat, crafting, powers ... the graphics style and music are excellent too

Darksiders II. It's not at all my sort of game. Not at all, in gameplay category or narrative. I fell head over heels for it as did my son. We went back and played the first one and liked it at least equally.
