I liked the article. Nice to see a piece about a bunch of the communities fond and fave ps2 moments, thought it was a good read. Weird to think how long ago it was to play some of those games now.

Great article, it really is the end if an era. I can ask any of my friends now and all of them will say at one point they owned a PS2.

Its strange but i also miss trying to get my old PS2 working when it kept showing 'Disc Read Error'. At the time i was so frustrated but now I actually look back on it with a fond memory trying to blow through the vents and rubbing the disc with a cloth

    Greatness Awaits

So will you be doing a GameCube one soon

It would be fair to add that among the classic memories of old

Sony confirmed that the end of PS2 applies to the whole world, not just Japan. http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology...ure-ends-years

I often see a common thread of people heralding their favourite games generally tend to be the first games of their first console (or both).

Nostalgia definitely plays a big part in this.

In saying that, for me, the Ace Combat series and Hitman series were the PS2's highlights for me.
