Ouya console gameplay video including dashboard shown off

There's a Youtube video showing some footage from the new Ouya console.

Looks like something you'd play on Wii.

I am pretty excited for this console as well, for $100 you can't really go wrong! Here is more footage of games running on the system, nice to see that the emulators works pretty well on it!

Looks like they took the OnLive footage down, I watched that video yesterday and was pretty impressed!

I suppose it works but in my eyes it's just a waste of money... It's not like a normal console with games you can only play on it, as a big gamer I can play everything it has to offer on my phone PC or consoles and handhelds.

I see the market for it but doubt it will take off

Really don't get the hype behind this.

Android games on a console... Really?

I understand how the make your own game is appealing and such, but as a "gaming" console it's jut ridiculous in my view.

If you're going to game on a home console, you will play fully fledged games i assume, not flash games that I bet are already available on the millions of gaming websites or on your phone...

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on one! It'll only cost me £70 and for that price it is a no brainer, even if it is only used as a video streaming box.

Just from the emulator standpoint I am going to be all over this console, and even though I can play all these same games on my phone or tablet, I would also love to be able to just chill on the couch and fire up the games on my TV as well with a controller! I think after Ouya comes out, you will see even more developer support for it, just having a cheap gaming console that anyone can design games for is going to be huge!
