this is acceptable as "Black and White" yes?
the sig (beneath the levels and hue mask) is really bright
i can't get it any darker without losing a lot of the sig
layer blending for the lose

i really liked it without the hue/saturation layer mask though

it was a nice blend of pinks and whites
except the text, that was plain blue, due to the expected hue/saturation mask
that levels mask f'd it all up

Well I apply ''jitter'' at very very low, like around 0.5-1.0 depending on your taste. Then I apply ''hard edge'' on very very high, like around 80-90 or so. The brush I use is the one I posted in my gimp help thread (found in my sig).
