Always knew Adam Sessler was bias towards MS in his reviews and never liked Sony. This proves it.

Ms said last year AT&T CES 2012 that the 2013 CES would be The best time to introduce the next Xbox. There is some validity to this story because MS was ready to introduce the new system at last years CES but cancelled it to promote the 360 for another year.

It is not early to start showing new hardware. All the giant retailers. Will be there for them to showcase it. It gives them the chance to start pre planning orders and inventory for the fall.
