Xbox 360 & Turtle Beach

Looking to get the PX21 or the X12. But all the youtube videos seem to suggest that I either have an 'Audio adapter' (allowing you to use HDMI & the R/w/Y cables) simultaneously.

Can anyone confirm that has experience with these headsets that I don't need the adapter?

I'd also like to know this. I was gonna get one of those headsets last year but all the cabling seemed annoying so I didn't bother lol

I just searched and watched a few videos and holy crap what a massive amount of wiring, I would steer clear too.
Isnt there any wireless ones?

My son JUST got the X12s about a week ago. He is currently NOT using them because yes, the adapter is needed. If our TV had supported the red/white audio OUT, then we wouldn't need the adapter. I am not familiar with many TV's that have red/white out. We will pick up the adapter in the next week or so, sadly. We didn't know this in advance.

And yes, it is a WIRE mess. I wish he would have gone with wireless. Oh well, live and learn.
