Anyone still excited for Final Fantasy Versus XIII?

I just felt like watching these again as it's been a while...

I remember that this got people really excited. Short but sweet...





The last one I've seen a dozen times but it really goes to show how little we know of the game. And what with Sony and Microsoft nearing the end of the current generation, the open world footage doesn't look as nearly as impressive as it did before.

So is anyone still looking forward to Versus XIII?

This game and TLG are on the backseat of my mind. Am I looking forward to it? Sure, I guess. If it ever see's the light of day, I would buy. But I'm not necessarily excited for it or anticipating it. Plenty of good games coming out that actually have release dates.

It's been nearly 6 years now since it was announced, so no, it's hard to be excited anymore. But in the prime of the hype this was on the top of my list. Was a huge fan of the art direction. Now it's uncertain what this game's future is, and in a way I wouldn't mind if they scrapped it and reimagined it for PS4, sort of how they handled FFXIII. The footage seemed very early build and it doesn't seem like they even had the complete concept down.

The game is way far back in my mind. At this point, I won't be mad/sad if it never releases. There comes a point where it either releases and I might play it, or it doesn't. And we really have no idea what the game will really deliver if it does come out. I'm not saying it's anyone here, but I think sony exclusive + kingdom hearts team = mass hype for something that hasn't really shown us anything substantial.

I still root for it to release, I just have no expectations for it.

The game still looks good. As long as it's still planned I'll still be excited.

However, I'd be lying if I wasn't amusing myself with the thought of it missing an entire generation before its release. While that would be tragic, it would be pretty funny and a rare case in gaming history.

He appears to be pretty badass, though I wanna know how he ends up in the game first. For all we know he could be the worst lead character ever.

The game shows a lot of promise, however, i'm finding it hard to feel excited about it anymore seeing as how we've gone so long without any info, and what we do know is pretty unsubstantial.

I really hope we hear something this year.

Versus and The Last Guardian are no longer on my radar. Because of poor overhead management from their respective publishers, these games will never release.
