ive had the ps3 slim 320gb for nearly 2 years now, and for some time its been making this loud clicking sound, like a ker-chunk when playing a game. i have no idea what this is, im just concerned, is this sound normal? thanks alot guys, much apprechiated

I dont think that the sound is normal as my slim never does it. I dont know what could be the issue though...

just the sound, nothing else, im sure its not overheating as i play 1 hour a day.

Maybe you should reposition your console. Check if there is something underneath the playstation. Otherwise i cant really help you. Cleaning it from dust may help as well.

Try removing the cooling stand and see if the issue persists.

I have a 160gb slim and I only hear it when I turn it off after using the console for so long.

I have the same problem my first ps3 slim 120 gig making clicking noise everytime I play my games. Answer to my ps3 slim first 1 broke so I think I was the reason.
