I know it is way too early to tell, and we probably won't know anything at all until Sony officially announces the system, but just curious to how many people still use Folding@Home and what are your thoughts about it returning in the PS4/Orbis? I personally hope that it makes a come back with more options from the @home project where we can choose to do Seti@home or something different as well.

Doubtful they will do anything like that in the future. Folding@Home was another way they could show off the Cell processor that sony was invested in, which is now defunct.

I hope they do. I folded every almost every single night when it was working and managed to rack up quite a lot of units.
Bring on PlayStation 2013!

If Folding@Home is on the PS4 we will purchase it immediately just for that. If not, we will likely hold off. We kept our PS3 turned on 24/7 except when we were using it for games, movies, or PlayStation Home, and we advanced into the top 15 in our group.
I like to think of Folding@Home as “How to make a direct contribution to medical science without really trying,” so I hope it will continue on the PS4.
We are still folding using our PCs, but it takes a matter of days to complete a single work unit as opposed to eight hours on the PS3.
