I just love the freedom the game gives you, the first opportunity I got I liberated every outpost and viewpoint of the first island..then I just tore up the first few missions like a complete boss.

Its funny, cause its obvious the game is expecting you not to have many weapon, but I was rocking around with all this powerful kit. One mission that would've taken ages otherwise and I completed it in a couple of minutes from a nearby hilltop and a magnified sniper without being seen.

EDIT: Just touched the multiplayer for the first time last night, the co-op gives a real L4D vibe with its own personal storyline and the 4 group of survivors.

The co-op in this game is so terrible. So many glitches and it was just not fun at all. Even though this DLC is free, I will NOT be playing it.

It is a shame too, Far Cry 3 is my favorite game of the year.

I didnt know there would be a Playstation exclusive DLC. Thats nice towards sony fans and playstation players.

I am so incredibly pissed off right now, almost had everything in the game unlocked...all the vewpoints and almost all the outpost, and on the 2nd island.

Go to play this morning and my game save is corrupted !! Why do this always happen to me with open world games!? Can't bring myself to start all over again.

Another reason why I am a PS+ member. The saves automatically back up to the cloud.

Well, this might have been a fluke thing...but...my son has been playing Dungeon Defenders, and his game save is also on the cloud (which is mirrored on the HDD as well) on his Xbox 360. The game save went corrupt. Both the cloud version and the HDD version were corrupt

Yep saving to the cloud doesn't guarantee anything. The file can still be corrupted.

Yeah the cloud save makes no difference anyway, it would just upload the corrupted saves to it.

Ever since my first PS3 got YLOD I backup to a USB whenever I can now. I had a corrupt save on FF8 years ago on PS1 memory card as well and lost 60 hours-ish but other than backing up to a second memory card you couldn't really do backups.
