Konami has released a new trailer showing the various skins available to Raiden in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

You’ll see the Gray Fox outfit, the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots outfit, White Armor, Inferno Armor, and Commando Armor.

I couldn't help but wonder how cool it would be to play through a Metal Gear game as Gray Fox though. I guess it'd be too late now (with the costume), but still...

I appreciate the skins. Really cool.

However, it would have been great if Gray Fox himself actually played some sort of role (in spirit, of course). Obviously he's dead at this point, so maybe if they had something like a flashback to when Gray Fox had some key missions and you were able to play as him throughout the flashback (similar to playing as a vampire thing while Big Boss was dreaming in MGS3)...perhaps serving as some sort of insight on the philosophy of today's Cybernetic Ninja by looking at those who came before them. But that's wishful thinking on my part, of course. Maybe in MGR2 (it seems likely that this game is gonna be successful enough to warrant a sequel).

I just think Kojima really, really wants fans to accept Raiden. I feel like he was hoping for him to be some sort of third wing to Big Boss and Solid Snake in terms of popularity, but it just hasn't worked out ever since he first showed up in MGS2.
