The DS3 is the better controller for this game but the framerate and screen tearing issues would really put me off. I'll take better performance over some slightly better textures any day.

Thats actually incorrect... The differences between both in terms of framerate and tearing is indiscriminate i noticed it equally on both

Umm..yes it did. And I'm not against PS3 just because I'm not the raving Sony cheerleader you would like me to be. I state my honest opinions good and bad. I just call them how I see them. I've criticised 360 and MS plenty and even had the xbox guys argue with me so dont try to paint me with that brush. And if my opinions offend you so much then you might want to take a closer look at yourself and ask yourself why that really is.

I'd have to agree/vouch for rad here - unlike some people here who like to claim they're "unbiased" - he's part of the ilk that actually for the most part is.

To me, I'd have to really look into which version to get - regardless of which has slightly better textures or frame rates - simply because I prefer the DualShock controller for these types of games. Just like I prefer the 360 controller for TPS/shooters in general.


Curious though of the 'like' Rad's post got. Ca't say the same for others...

Its not that they are lying, rather, the differences they underline are so small its hardly noticable... Dont just listen to me, or DF, try them both yourself if you can and make your own decision

Oh yeah I usually do and the differences usually are barely noticable like you said. And the PS3 controller is better for this type of game anyway. Also I didnt mean to sound rude in my other reply. When I came back to this thread and re-read my post I was like wow that sounds kind of harsh. lol

Lol its all good i know most of you so its really no biggie... The most important thing to keep in mind is if the game works how you want it to wether using ds3 or 360.... Those i believe will make the ultimate choice for anyone with console options

Yep thats usually the case so it really just comes down to controller preference.

lets all just take a moment of silence and reliefe that we wont have to try playing it with a Wii U contrablet... eff that awkwardness... (even if you do use the wiiuprojunk controller... it would feel weird)
