when will PSN be back up in north america

Is anyone else getting the problem that you can't back out of the "The store is currently down for maintenance" screen? Every time I check I have to restart the PS3.

Yep. Same here. I figured out a way to check if it's up though, without having to restart the machine. Just try going to account management on the XMB instead of the store.

some can login, some include me can't.

waiting isnt an option cause it's also possible that's PSN working normal in an half hour...or worse case cenario also in 4 or 5 hours. or later.
so going to sleep now and try it again tomorrow morning

Just saw a message on FB from PS Australia that maintenance will continue and that PSN should be back up 4.00 pm AEST (that's in about 4 hours from now) Maybe the extra maintenance is to fix the backout problem from the PS Store. :P
