Rumor: Monster Hunter 4 coming to PS Vita

Japanese magazine GameLab has an interesting rumor in its Industry Gossip Corner this month.

“The release date for the 3DS game Monster Hunter 4 was postponed [from March to summer 2013], but not because ‘further quality enhancements are needed.’ It’s because Capcom has begun working towards a simultaneous release for PS Vita since [PS Vita] sales have been increasing. Now, the Nintendo and Capcom camp has added Sony to the mix and deliberations are underway.”

    Remember: rumor, salt, all that.

there was someone on the forum asking about this (a monster hunter game for vita as opposed to 3ds) a few months ago.

i never got into monster hunter myself, wanted to; but the lack of dual thumb sticks proved too difficult a challenge for me

if this is true, i will most certainly pick it up.

It's the shot in the arm that Vita could do with but until Sony or Capcom say it, I won't believe it.

I honestly think this isn't the case, but if it is, then major news.

problem is if its running with the same limited stuff the 3DS has, its not gonna be pushing the Vita at all.

I've never actually played a Monster Hunter game but I would totally buy it if it was released on the Vita

Capcom is the stupidest company ever for not taking advantage of the Vitas (mostly) poor launch lineup, they wouldve had the number 1 Vita game in Japan and probably have sold millions by now. Unless Nintendo gave them so much to make up for the losses.

Yea if its a straight port then its quite bad ( better than nothing i guess)

I think the vita is capable of some incredible things, just need devs to put the effort in.
