Didn't see the news mentioned here yet. Apparently the Skyrim DLC is landing next month and Bethesda will be giving PS3 users 50% off for a limited time.

They know they fucked up with the PS3 version. The past is the past, they are offering HALF OFF for like the first week on ALL the current DLC. I see it as, take it or leave it.
I think it's great for people to give it a go who haven't been able, but I wouldn't trust it before I saw it in action. Bethesda PS3 DLC has been notorious for being poorly designed.

i feel for the PS3 gamer's, because we all were meant to play these DLC'S together and talk about the difference in frame rate and the odd things each one had
But now it seems no point in actually engaging in a conversation, because it's late in the day and we have played already
and that is a shame

These devs can still go fuck themselves. I'll never support one of their titles this gen. Hopefully they pull their head out of their ass(learn to make an engine) for the ps4 versions of their titles.
Prepare for meltdowns if these next gen console rumors are true. Phase 1: Denial. Phase 2: Mask a lie under "opinion" vs a fact. Phase 3: Bring up the good ol' days when it has nothing to do with the subject. Phase 4: Say that the power gap doesn't matter but constantly defend the specs.

50% off? I'll buy it. I haven't even finished the main quest yet and I've had the game since Christmas 2011.

Bethesda need to do a lot more than half the price imo. their work on the ps3 port has been a shambles.
as it stands, i'll be reluctant to put money down on this when it hits.
hopefully id software are forefront in Fallout 4's development. Fallout 3 was another poor showing from bethesda.

Ouch. Suppose they were damned if they did or damned if they didn't fix the PS3 issues.
Getting 50% off is a reasonably good deal, I thought.

the last DLC will hit before the first DLC. i'll wait for the GOTY version regardless. hopefully its not like the Oblivion GOTY and missing half the DLC

for reals though. they messed up big time, its a problem that has been apparent to them from the begging of this gen, as was the case with the aforementioned Oblivion. yet they haven't remedied the problem.
although sounding negative i am actually psyched to finally get the DLC. its just a shame with the amount of time that has passed.
my reluctance to put money down is more to do with confidence in the product than any hostile feeling toward the devs. if the devs are bad, the devs are bad. there's nothing i can do about it other than look after my money.

It's a 25 dollar value for all three DLC packs, at 50 percent off. Add the base game for another 25 and you've got your Game of the Year edition.

Yeah 50% is not good enough to get me to redeemed how badly they have screwed PS3 over. Mybe heartfire free and other two 60% off. Watch these break it for PS3.

Crud. My girlfriend and I don't move into our loft until April, and it was there I was finally planning on setting up an internet connection. I guess I'll miss the half-off sale.
Either way, this makes me happy. I was indifferent to the vampire stuff, but Dragonborn looked really interesting, and my copy of Skyrim hasn't given me many problems. I've suffered a few freezes here and there, and the occasional stuttering frame rate, but nothing to the degree I've seen it complained about. I'll gladly buy this. I still have a good time any time I boot up the game. But then I've only logged around 70 hours since release, and a lot of people clocked that in two weeks.
Which blows my mind.

the oblivion GOTY edition did miss out a shit load, but they were tiny wee things
Since SKYRIM has no tiny wee add-ons. It should have all 6 or 8 DLC'S
I see 5 more DLC's or maybe 3 more

Can't argue with that.

Yeah, they still seemed a bit vague about how well Dawnguard will work on PS3, I might wait and see on that one. Will certainly pick up Dragonborn half price though, and maybe Hearthfire, although that one seems a bit lame

It's a shame that Bethesda always seem to stiff their PS3 customers with dubious DLC, cos I really like a lot of their games.
