Obviously they would be of reduced quality compared to running on the actual console, but I think Sony could potentially use Gaikai to give PS3 owners a taste of PS4 gaming.
It would not only be a really cool why of showcasing the PS4 and its games, but also a excellent way to introduce Gaikai to the casual gamer.

With GaiKai they ARE running on the actual console, It's just the video being sent. I don't think this is outside the realm of possibility. It would be an AMAZING tool to bring over the 7th gen userbase to the 8th.

But with video compression there would be impact to the image quality compared to playing it on the PS4 in your living room. Gaikai and onlive don't stand up to actually playing on a decent PC.

Well only time will tell. What's possible is all speculation till we hear something.
Of course it won't be parity, but good enough to be enticing.
