PSU gives Ni no Kuni - 9/10

    http://www.psu.com/a018049/Ni-No-Kun...e-Witch-Review

    I reviewed this, it's a brilliant game.

Not quite deserving of top marks though, mainly because it annoys me when I constantly get attacked when I just want to cash in on a bounty hunt or get to a certain place. I also feel the spell side-quests, though fun to do, could have been more exciting and I should have been able to guess which spell to use rather than be told.

Overall though, this is one my favourite games for a while.

If you missed out on the Wizards Edition, be ready for a really to buy as soon as it comes online. Probably watch Amazon UK's site + the twitter feed and facebook page for Namco.

I'm pretty sure they gave Ni No Kuni an 8. That's a great score coming from them.

I have a feeling this may nab PSU's Game of the Month award.

Check yesterday's Giantbomb bombcast (podcast). Around the 39 min mark they discuss Ni No Kuni. Brad Shoemaker "adores" the game.

It's a beautiful game, and a total throwback to how I remember RPGs "back in the day." I was worried it would be too much like Pokemon (which I'm not really into), but it's not really--just solid combat, character building, fun story, and really great graphics.

I tried the demo again and actually enjoyed it, since after all these reviews I "get it" now. After all the reviews, and the demo, I'm considering putting Tomb Raider on the backburner and picking this up. Choices, choices.. ><

Id say put tomb raider on the backburner because out of the two I can see it dropping faster in price then Ni No Kuni

2nd this. I don't think Ni No Kuni will drop very quickly. Now that it's getting a ton of good press, it may get hard to find the game. I doubt they did a massive print run.
