Famitsu: 64% of Gamers plan to buy Vita this year

Famitsu has released the result of a recent poll, about what systems people plan to buy in Japan this year, participant can pick multiple systems; the result shows that 64% of Japanese plans to buy PS Vita this year, followed by 48% for 3DS and 33.8% for Wii U; 10% of people also picked smartphone (other than iPhone). 75.6% of participants were male and 24.4% were female.

I've been playing Pokemon since release of the first Red and Blue games came out, so no matter how similar the newer games are (which I find to be pretty different), they always have a special meaning to me, they always make me feel like a kid again so I still enjoy playing them.

I haven't played a Pokémon game since Crystal (Gold and Silver) but I'll admit the jump to 3D with X and Y has me interested in picking up a 3DS XL later this year.

The Vita could use a killer-app though. Unless fishing games, like the following, are really big in Japan I don't think it'll help move units. =/

The PS Vita is an amazing machine. It's going to get awesome games sooner rather than later.
