I ended up pre-ordering the standard edition for £35.99. Last thing I need is another game but it just looks so sublime that I couldn't resist.
Doesn't turn up until next Friday but at least I know I'll be playing it by next weekend. Looking forward to it.

Wiz Ed's are going for nearly $400 on eBay now and Namco confirmed they won't make more. I'm sorry but if you can sell this thing and almost pay for a PS4 or Xbox 720 with that money, why not do it?

I don't get it... You can buy them for the normal price on Amazon!
EDIT: Hmm apparently not anymore. I bought mine on amazon like 2 days ago. Now i'm wondering if I should really open it... Here in germany they are going at about 200 - 300 euros, so about 2 to 3 times the starting price.Last edited by Croyles; 01-27-2013 at 10:29.

I'm having a tough time with some of the boss battles. Gone back to heading out into the desert to level up substantially before taking any more on

I was lurking on CAG and saw this link posted. The B&W are the regular version. The color stuff is the Wizard's Edition. This makes me not even want to buy the regular version. It doesn't seem worth $60 next to the color art.

I wanted the fucking wizard edition but by the time I knew it existed it was IMPOSSIBLE to get. I'm still angry about it but not angry enough to pay $100+ extra for some greedy fuck who ONLY ordered it to sell
if I am in the PS3 or 360 section I will NOT post about the competitor just to please people, if you want to know what I think about the competitor link me to a thread in the appropriate section

I'm pretty sure they ran out a couple of days ago. I got one of the last ones. Also you have to remember that UK and Europe Wizard editions dont include the soundtrack, the artwork or the gold coin...
Other than that, the book is in english, just the box and the game box is in german (the game only has english and japanese voice acting anyway).[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Now, now. Having good business sense is not the same as being greedy. For all we know most of these sellers bought the copies for themselves, realized the lucrative potential of re-selling, and decided to ship it off rather than keep it for sentimental reasons. I'm sure a lot of those early Wii debacles were due to early buyers genuinely interested in the Wii deciding they'd rather make a few extra hundred bucks and just wait to get their own console at a later date.
In the case of Ni No Kuni, I don't think anyone was expecting the Wizard edition to be this high in demand. Makes me wish I would have purchased one.

I'm pissed at myself. Had the opportunity to buy a Wizard's Edition, but thought it was too pricey. Then when I changed my mind a few days later it was sold out.
I just want the Wizard's Companion, don't want to constantly be flipping through the digital version of it.Trophy-licious!
