Good, I'm ready for a nice slow burning JRPG that will take me weeks/months to play.

I did all the side quests though so, and im a bit over powered lol

To be honest I'm not entirely sure, when I was unable to get the wizard edition they told me while looking at their PC that at least I'll get some type of pre order bonus. I was too shitty at the time to bother asking but whatever it was. I didn't get it but I don't mind.

The Wizard's Companion book is probably one of the best extra additions to a game I have ever laid eyes upon. So extravagantly detailed and beautiful in every way. I am very happy I bought the Wizard's Edition!

While the game was installing I spent my time with the book, and was so in awe that I didn't even notice the game had finished installing.
In fact, I haven't even started playing yet, deciding to look at a few more pages (and because I forgot to download the extra 2 Familiars).

Thanks. I bought a UK version of Ni No Kuni Wiz Ed so I have a couple of preorder DLC codes available for trade if someone has a US version. They're Griffy and Flutterby.

Loving the game so far, I'm at the 2nd city and pretty strong..been grinding a lot.

I love the aspect of the storyline that every character you meet has a counterpart in the real world and helping one helps the other.

Doesn't really matter though cause they get power leveled pretty fast.

That one that hatched in the forest on the way to the 2nd city, I had him leveled up above Lvl 10 pretty fast.

Hardly. I did the same and assumed that I was over powered but most of the monsters can provide a challenge. That didn't stop some from running away though!.

Just before I left the north Ding Dong Dell area all the monsters were running away from me as well as some of the glade monsters..wasn't til I got to the desert that monsters started attacking me again.

I judged if I was over leveled or not by the fact that when the girl and her familiar joins your party they are both level 10..whereas my Oliver and Mite are both Level 15 if I remember correctly.

This game Is awesome! It's what final fantasy 13 should have Been, loving the game so far got Oliver and mitey level 10 with a new familiar on my way to al mamoon.

So I just finished the trials, I can finally capture my own Familiars Pokemon style and as well as that I was finally able to collect my preorder Familiars Griffy and Flutterby (Griffy is a beast, even at level 1).

PS. Did you guys know there are 2 free Famliars to download from the store? Golden Hurley and Draggle.

I believe EU gets those due to the delay, NA PSN will get Draggle on Feb 12th. Probably hold off on starting till then, I'm still going through Tales of Graces F. lol

Golden hurly was due to the strategy guide screw up and draggle was for making us wait

So... I am unable to play anymore At first I thought my controller had died but seems I've just been hit with a bug. I am unable to access the map/menu/magic and I need to to continue the story. I just loaded into the game and I'm fucked. Restarted the game, restarted the system, restarted the controller and nothing seems to fix the issue. I'm going to delete the game data and reinstall but from the ONLY other person I've found that has this same issue it isn't going to help me either... Anyone have any idea because I am really enjoying this damn game.

So I reached the seaside village last night (Think I'm close to getting the boat on the world map).

All my main Familiars are on their 2nd evolutions now and pretty high leveled. (Including Griffey and Flutterby)

Did anyone else get that DLC? Griffey is a complete powerhouse, especially after evolving. I gave him to Esther because she has an affinity with flying types..not sure what bonus that actually gives though.
