he always just sounds british to me since (but i have it on JP audio with subtitles) and i catch myself reading it in a british accent lol.

So what familiars do people use(ie type for ester, oliver etc). I am bouncing around and it is catching up to me haha.

Im only just past the volcano seen in the demo, but right now Oliver has Mitey, that cat thing that is your second familiar (Which sucks cause it cant defend), and a Little Bighorn. Ester uses her starting Familiar, Green Buncher, and something else I forget primarily. (Just got a Draggle, so I'm most likly going to give that to the girl)

Two things about this game kind of annoy me:
-The fact I got forced to evolve my Mitey when I wasnt sure I wanted too
-And the fact the party AI doesnt seem to Defend.. EVER. Hell I switched to the girl to defend after defending on Oliver, and the AI made Oliver stop defending so he nearly died. During boss fights Ester ALWAYS dies half way through.. ugh.

Also got a question about evolving, am I hurting myself by wanting to evolve after they learned all there tricks? Right now I'm in the early 20s but Im not sure if I should keep going or if I should be evolving my dudes since they know all the tricks they can.

only if you want to max the stats, other than that you can just evolve them after they learn their tricks

I read on a guide that when you evolve them only 5% of their stats carry across and when they are evolved again that turns into 1%. So there really is no point after they learn their skills.

I evolve min i can. Plus later game you can capture evolve version which dont seem to have much diff stats. As for defending play story and youll unlock triangle all out attack and circle all out defend and thatll help. I also have ester as healer role. Mp is so small tho it sucks.

It kinda differs, when u catch one from its first form and lvl it till it gets all its tricks or even further then evolve it to the third form , you get a bonus in stats but not that much really ,but still if you want that bonus it's good

just wanna correct something if you don't mind,all defend option is when you press square not Circle

Thanks guys, so its pretty much a waste of time leveling my guys up unless I intend to level them up super high. Well, I got a lot of evolving and then grinding to do to get them back to there stats.. lol

Also thanks for letting me know about the all out defend later in the game, had a feeling there was something or I was missing something so I brought it up.

Its very werid how you dont get alot of the controls till alot later in the game

Its not really needed though..the first time I was really in need of it was the battle that it was introduced after.

Maybe im having issues then because before it my teqm was dying to boss abilities because they stood there hahaha

Ester dies in ever major boss battle since I got her on my party, so yeah.. its been needed for awhile.

Also, question for you guys that far ahead: Please tell me theres a way to make taming easier? I went back to tame every Familiar I can but I've spent hours at this. I find it takes far too long to impress these things lol

Sadly the rate is very low but you can raise it a bit by unlocking A merit reward, it's on the bottom line of the rewards
