Only took em 6 years to realize if people want a a distictly 'westernized' game, they'd buy from a westernized games studio. People like the more eastern/Japanese styled games because of the eastern/Japanese feel to them...
Too bad this gen is soon to be coming to a close, but it's about damned time they realized this. Better late then never.Last edited by faaeng; 01-22-2013 at 22:28.
PCs are very much like Air Conditioners.
They both become utterly useless once you start to open up Windows....

I agree completely. Lately I've been seeing a lot more quality games from, Japan which hasn't happened since the start of this generation. If this is an indication that, Japanese game development will pump more quality games like before for the next generation of console gaming then I eagerly await their comeback!

Hallelujah...SE take note
I had no intentions of becoming a leader. It is as a warrior how I shall be remembered, but these are hardly numbers worth dying for.

Yea let the Westerners make western games. They're better at it anyway.

Agreed. The TALES games have always seemed to have that Japanese magic to them. It's always nice having one game series I can depend on no matter what. Looking forward to seeing a non-"westernized" japanese game market again. Though, this has been being said for a while now, so I will wait to see if Japanese game producers actually do distance themselves from the "westernization" movement.

I prefer a mix of what Japan gives in rpgs( character interactions and development), and what the west gives(deep customization, more believable designs).
I can't say any RPG has really done that for me this generation.
