Another Day another 'report'; Orbis Specs

i don't see the need for the kotaku hate. they've named their source, unlike many other sites that have been duped or just trawled through forums. and their source has been pretty legit so far.
although different (because its talking about a dev kit), i think this rumour is interesting.... now to go read the rest.
*edit: MUCH better article than most out there right now. think you owe them an apology!Last edited by J3ff3; 01-23-2013 at 19:12.
Got YLOD? In the UK? I'll buy it off you.

I really just want to see what next-gen games Sony and other development studios have to offer. For all we know, the PS4 could struggle just as much as the Vita, despite boasting some impressive specs.

I like the controller idea a lot. Pretty cool if this turns out to be true.

Not a bad little read like the sound of some of the specs even if there all false, i do like the idea of having SEN accounts being linked to controllers.
Cant think what to put in the box

PCs are very much like Air Conditioners.
They both become utterly useless once you start to open up Windows....

Did you read the article? It is not permanently linked to it, just when you press the button the turn it on, it asks which account you want to login with. Just the fact of being able to have 4 players, all using their own accounts while playing multiplayer in a game is awesome!

Whether it is Bulldozer or Jaguar, both offer plenty of CPU performance for a console. These things don't have to run a full blown operating system on them, after all. VRAM and GPU specs matter a whole lot more than CPU specs when it comes to a console unless you just HAVE to be able to pause your game to watch an episode of Walking Dead on Netflix and then resume play.

Anyone notice the 2.2gb on the GPU?
Gaf reckons its 256mb for BC and Cell is onboard too

I really do hope they bring BC back in full force
The hardware is powerful enough to do it justice and PS3 games need nothing but the ability to play
BC is a selling point too, I know some people think it ain't
But could any gamer resist a console that plays the latest games and 3 generations of their games
Not to mention Sony can still sell the games to those that don't have the originals

If you had the choice between a $500 PS4 with B/C or a $400 PS4 with no B/C, which one would you buy?
