Will you buy PS4 day one?

Yeah day 1 buy for me. Not even considering new xbox at all. Never have and never will unless vastly superior to the playstation. Have always went sony just. Free online plus the fact i prefer the games on playstation, more variety, been very few on xbox I even wanted to play, forza series, alan wake, gears of war thats about it. Rest I can play on playstation latest cod, fifa. Plus the exclusive ps3 games have been great i think, uncharted, killzone, resistance 1 and motorstorm I played to death lol. Have had a lot of fun out of ps1 2 and 3 so getting new ps4 or whatever it will be called seems only natural. People that buy 2 consoles that does the same things I dont get it lol.

It honestly depends on what Sony is offering this generation. If they take the Nintendo route and skimp on the hardware upgrade, then I'll say fuck off. If they vastly improve the hardware then it'll be day 1. For those that say better graphics don't make a better game, I suggest you stick to your atari.

Depends on price. If it comes out here around $600-750NZD maybe. But will probably hold off till the next iterations (slim etc).

Same with the next XBox.

Though that price will be on the low side and rather unrealistic.

If I do buy the PS4 day one, it's got to be $500 tops and I will definitely get a Protection Plan from Best Buy, don't want to end up spending $1200 (not counting taxes) on buying a PS3 getting stuck on a forced to buy loop because of Sony's faulty products.

If it has a good controller, free online, and at least 5 games announced im interested in i would like to but no for fear of hardware failure so i will wait to how that works out over 6 months. If all is good then i will buy it.

After the experience of the last generation hardware. Blu-ray failures, YLOD it makes you wonder if you're garuanteed a proper console.

It all depends on the timing in the end. It'll be good to wait to see the malfunctions at first but obviously Sony will be prepared unlike the slow start it had with PS3 due to many situations.

Don't know anything about it. All I really care about are the games and how much it'll cost but all "insider sources" seem to know are the specs.
