Hey Lp Chris XII,

Since you're the only moderator I have close contact with I thought I'd let you know about my problem. You may or may not have noticed that I recently got banned from PS3Forums.com. I don't know how to start without you thinking that my intentions with this message are that I'm trying to cover up the truth and making up an excuse for whatever the reason might have been.

As far as I know Perfect Sin is the moderator who decided to ban me. His intentions were probably to make PS3Forums a better place because he thought I was being a "fanboy" (I hate that word btw). I know fanboys aren't allowed at the PS3Forums, but even though I am a fanboy, I try to be neutral. Okay, I might get a bit unfair and show my true side at times, and I do know that it's something I need to improve if I want to stay in this forum. My belief is that Perfect Sin’s decision was too harsh, even though he might have his reasons. That's not enough though, because I have my share of reasons as well.

You probably already know that my intention with this message is that I want Perfect Sin to reconsider. I'm also asking that the ban is lifted, because I don’t think I deserved it. I know I can trust you to pass this message on, please let all the moderators know that I'll try my best to improve myself.

Woah dude, no need for hard feelings. If I would have been a mod, I'd ban your ass immidiately. You would have probably done the same thing if I as much as used a word like sh*t against you. We're square now, and just because you're a mod doesn't mean you can be disrespectful towards me and expect me to just stand and take it. If you ban me because I said something disrespectful in return, you're weak.

I'm not banning you dude. I'm just saying that I dislike the fact that you go out of your way to make clear Sony fanboy comments and that's not going to fly. As far as swearing goes, would you have prefered crap? I might have went over the top but either way, it's the best descriptive word for things like, "AC is going to look blocky, have a slow framerate, and suck all around on the Xbox360. However, on the PS3 things will run perfect because PS3 is just better and MS sucks."

I mean, that was not much different then the comment that set this whole PM argument off in the first place. Oh, and if calling you a Sony fanboy is disrespectful, then what should I call you?

Ah, no worries man, it's not the word "sony fanboy" that pisses me off- because I am one- but rather the fact that you wrote "because of the sh*t you say". I find that just as disrespectful as you would have.

Now I'm just going to go and think about how awesome the ps3 will be and how much better it is than the xbox360 for a while. You know my beliefs are the simple truth.

This was a PM conversation I had with the member.

All I needed was some more fanboy comments and a couple flaimeposts to ban him. He did just that so I did.

Any more opinions on this? I'd like to write him a response sometime soon, since he sent this to me five days ago.

Personally, I think we should let him back on probation, and see if he makes any changes.

He said himself he won't stop acting like one...and that he hates everything and everyone Xbox related.

I don't think he should be let back on.

If he said it himself that he won't stop, don't even bother to remove that ban then. The only way he is going to stay here is that he changes but seems like MartinX isn't going to so...

Now saying something like that deserves a ban.
Maybe not a perma ban but a ban.
To hate someone because of a console prerfence is idotic.

If you look down in the similar threads, he got infractions and warnings for Insulting other members and acting like a fanboy. Those things also deserve a ban.

You say he has already been banned before, me thinks the system should go:

Warning - Temp Ban - Perma Ban.
I believe many mods follow this system or a very similar system.
If MartinX has already been banned before, he deserved a perma ban.

The banning of this member doesn't affect me in the slightest. In fact, I say good riddance. I've lost count of the times that I've witnessed him calling other members 'gay' because their opinion differs to his.

Well, to be honest i guess that he should receive a ban, but not a perma one, and have him in the users watchout list. That is, warning him and telling him that if he flames again he wont receive an infraction but is going to be banned inmediately.

We have to fair and the scissors have to cut on both sides. If users like compgeek hasnt been perma banned yet, then why users like this one can be perma banned?

My point is, either we start banning for real all those trouble makers, or we get soft all together.
