Malware on site

so i sent an image of my AV blocking something to Cuguy earlier.

now Chrome is denying me access to the site. just a heads up to the staff.

i'm am as yet undecided if i prefer this or the video ads.

Getting it also, though not on any one page so I'm going to assume its in an ad. The filename is not always the same, but its good to know its the site and not my firefox.. still sucks its on my most frequented site though.

Found it odd below the British Airways ad I see a yellow bar with an "X", and right before I got the pop-up firefox was transferring data from image2.pub-which sadly thats all I remember. If thats the issue, I dont know.

I got a warning as well. I got a 'Java wants to run on this site' message and reluctantly hit 'run this time' (have been messing with blocking javascript on LA Times through the adblock plugin so wasn't sure if I broke Java on other sites by mistake).

Right after I hit the 'run this time' I had a notification from Malwarebytes telling me it blocked an attempt. The "Vendor" is listed as 'Rootkit.0Access.EPA' and the file name was 'F9QVCB.exe'.

I had the Java issue too. And I had my security off for the last few weeks coz I was having trouble running some programs and now I have all this malware....

I'm having so much trouble removing this malware from my computer it's not funny. I know I should have had my firewall on but I thought all my usual
Websites were safe.


Ill be back once it's fixed/I'm confident it won't occur again

and no official comment in 11 hours? no offense, but come on, if this place can't be run adequately now (navigation/malware etc), what's going to happen when next gen really kicks off?

Every single time I close out PSU and load it up, I get an AVG pop up saying it blocked some site from accessing my pc. The website it provides is always different.

You dont have to be sorry as its not your fault that this issue appeared. Its the technical guy who is lazy and never does something and when he does he only adds additional issues. In my opinion he should be fired and a better technician should get employed.

Still im chasing them on the subject now, will try and keep you guys informed if I find anything at all.

I just got this today, I came here to report it when I saw this thread.
I'm using Mozilla and it flagged it as an "Attack Site"... whatever that means.
