upgrading your gpu for crysis 3?

I've been pondering if I should upgrade my gpu from a 6870 to a 7950 for crysis later this month, or wait for the 8000 series.
anyone else stuck with the idea of upgrading
I guess I'll see how my 6870 handles the beta tomorrow

I think this will be the year that my two 5870's get retired. Depending when I have the money I wouldn't mind getting a 690

Can't wait for CRYSIS 3 ,actually picked up CRYSIS 2 a few days ago and been playing it maxed out DX11/HI RES on my Superclocked GTX 570 getting 60+ fps /35+ heavy battle fights so hopefully I can play CRYSIS 3 on some decent settings

    The BETA is on ORIGIN

Turn all the AA off. AA is very intensive.
What I find stupid is that we have to input our Origin user and pass even though it is launched from Origin.

yep will do that next time I like the BETA so far played both modes The Pinger is good but really slow to use

& yep it is pretty stupid having to input your Details even though you're booting from Origin itself

Turning the AA off to 2x has gotten me to 30+fps

Anyone using the NVIDIA Gaming Experience program it's good as it Optimizes your games tells you when new drivers are out like the 316.96 BETA driver has just been released.

I'll play it to test the limits of my computer I bought last year, but I'm not a fan of the Crysis games... they are pretty boring imo

    2x is not OFF.
    disabled is OFF

Also lower the other settings for christs sake y Pc can get over 60FPS on lowest.

ADS sensivity is way too high, makes it pointless to use.

That I agree with...or failing that go for a higher end Nvidia gpu if you can't wait and simply need to play this game maxed out.

That said: If you guys are going to get an Nvidia upgrade perchance ask my local guys down at Bossrigs.com what they can do for ya.

Like one of the other guys here mentioned, I too get 30 outside minimum and 60 max. Also, there are new beta drivers out for those of you using nvidia cards.

even with multi running surprisingly smooth, I'm still not hopeful my 6870 can handle the campaign.
