oh god... oh gooood... im not a big FPS fan... in fact i pretty much hate them (except kz2/3 sue me) but its bad when i turn the game off after a few rounds because how bored i was... i HATED black ops 2 but at least i played to like rank 35-40... i cant see me even trying crysis 3... i gamefly'd crysis2 and pretty much hated it (mp and sp) so i cant say ill like the SP any more... and yes this is beta MP, but for crysis making such a fucking deal over this game... the MP looks SHIT compared to something like KZ3's MP beta (and especially final release) or even fucking black ops 2... go home crytek... youre drunk.

I haven't seen anything on console match KZ3 or even KZ2 graphically yet especially in campaign with all the stuff going on onscreen at times.

I like the Hunter mode a lot. Only complaint i have is how hard it is to see them when they are cloaked. I died so many times without ever even seeing them. I guess that is the point though.

A game where you're playing sort of this hide and seek game...so to speak, you need all of your senses enhanced to really enjoy the game.

Ever wonder why Modern Warfare was so popular? Sound whoring. I loved it and it was one of the biggest reasons for me playing Search & Destroy as it's a very tactical game if you play the right mode.

This game has horrible sound, blurry graphics and those are two major things needed in a mode such as this. Metal Gear Online somewhat had it right too.

If someone tackled something like this in the correct way, it would be really awesome...this? not so much.

Exactly, there are some core issues there that can't be changed. Next generation will likely bring a lot more variety to the table.

Can't argue with people that still find it good, my expectations are generally high.

But the console versions look lower res, its no very promising

From what I've seen even the PC version looks underwhelming. C2 looked much better. And after all that talk from Crytek CEO that "Crysis 3 will be top dog for 3 years and NO game can match its visuals" its just funny and sad

Yes its to test the build so they can fix bugs, etc
And we should give them feedback, but I don't think they wanna hear that the graphics suck.....considering its Crysis 3

"beta" these days doesnt mean anything more than "demo".. so no... its exactly the purpose. after all.. when was the last you you got a full nda in your email requesting your every little issue be posted so the game could be made better before getting to the next stage of development after downloading a PSN (PS+) or XBL "beta?"

Actually I don't really agree. Beta is when a game is 'feature complete'. It is when devs stop changing things around and just make sure the game runs without problems. Graphics are not a part of beta 'fixes' (unless its visual glitches)

or texture updates like BF3 did...though, for those that missed it, Crysis 3 beta looks, sounds and plays worse than BF3 beta being almost 2 years apart...and BF3 is a much much bigger game with lots more going on. BF3 was also higher res.

You just shouldn't excuse them for any reason there.
