Crysis 3 Beta

I am not a big online gamer, but I am enjoying the shit out of this beta! I love the whole hunter concept.

What do you guys think of the beta so far?

How are the net code and matchmaking? Those two things were complete and utter garbage in Crysis 2.

Played the PS3 one so far and I'm really enjoying it. Hunter mode is cool. Graphics look pretty good too especially for being MP maps. SP should look even better.

The game is really good. I will get Crysis 3 and the online is fun too.

I sucked horribly at Crysis 2 (and the beta), but in this beta I can actually get a decent kill/death ratio in my matches (instead of being completely owned and sucking all the fun out of it lol)

I'm not big into multiplayer so i'll have to wait even though I enjoyed what little I've played

You guys also should not be judging graphics off of a beta. Chances are the beta was stripped a little to keep the file size down. I may be correct, I may be wrong.

playing the PC version & it's great so far I like The Hunter mode

Agree that CRYSIS 2 looking Better but im sure that it is just because it's a MP BETA & the SP will look a lot better ,It recommends a GTX 680 for Hi Performance Spec which is a top end GPU so you know it's gonna look good on release

Was quite interested in Hunter mode. Played the beta, thought it was pants. Disappointed.

The graphics make my eyes hurt

. But like Lethal said it's just a beta and the image quality, at least, will be a lot sharper in the final game as the beta looks much worse than C2 imo

I played a bunch of hunter mode yesterday, thought it was great. I'd actually prefer to be the hunter most the time - it's hilarious. Didn't play the other mode much.

While hunter mode is quite good, i would have LOVED IT if they went back the crysis wars roots and added power struggle and made it play more like that, it was just so much fun.

Graphically its good, at times it looks just amazing, other times its ok. I really dislike the crappy "cinematic" look to ( film grain)

On the ps3 i heard its worse than crysis 2 :P

Yes thats what it was, everything was low res and murky, foliage was kinda detailess and blocky
I know C2 was sub HD but when I put it on last night after the beta the IQ jump was unbelievable
I even said to my bro I think the PS3 is showing its age now, but I'm hoping its just the beta and final game, atleast the campaign is better

PC version doesn't look great either, quality may improve upon release I dont think all the effects are enabled.

max settings 30FPS max. No AA and No motion blur I can't stand that crap.
Some kind of filter or film grain I noticed it even before I took the shots.

Yeah they do look like what you'd expect the console versions to look like
But the console versions look lower res, its no very promising

It's a mediocre shooter...I just don't know where it fits. It doesn't do a better job than any good shooter on the market. Yes, I didn't play the game long enough to make this judgement but i'm not seeing anything that would grab me enough to keep me interested.

Seriously found Resistance 3 beta more fun...and that game's MP is straight up average.

oh god... oh gooood... im not a big FPS fan... in fact i pretty much hate them (except kz2/3 sue me)

but its bad when i turn the game off after a few rounds because how bored i was... i HATED black ops 2 but at least i played to like rank 35-40... i cant see me even trying crysis 3... i gamefly'd crysis2 and pretty much hated it (mp and sp) so i cant say ill like the SP any more...

and yes this is beta MP, but for crysis making such a fucking deal over this game... the MP looks SHIT compared to something like KZ3's MP beta (and especially final release) or even fucking black ops 2...

go home crytek... youre drunk.
