They're real time character models On the Durango SsDK......at Dark Vincent Square have been using the Durango SDK close to three years and the demo you saw at e3 was from that.

I'll have to read the original article from 4gamer more carefully later but a quick glance at it right now and NOWHERE does it mention it's for the nextbox. It only states next gen and DirectX 11 platform which according to the rumours the orbis is also capable of.

But as I said, I will read more carefully later on.

All Durango kits are DX-11 certified.......you will see several next xbox games running dx11 hopefully we see some of them at GDC in March.

The title of this thread should be changed. That engine is multiplatform. Not Xbox exclusive.

Particle based hair is enough to get me excted for next gen, finally moving on from polygonal hair with transparent textures.

Agni’s Philosophy was running on a single GTX 680 that was paired with an i7-3770K (at 3.5GHz) and 32 GB of RAM. As GameWatch suggests, this tech demo did not stress the aforementioned machine much, meaning that such graphics can be easily achieved by high-end PC systems. The tech demo used 1.8GB of texture data and was said to be running with a combination of MSAA and FXAA.

Yeah, current gen games just use flat polygons with PNG textures to try and mimic hair, it seems proper hair/fur systems will finally be able to be used in real time next gen.

I clearly remember that "Demo" showing off SE's new engine, NOT a next gen console be it Durango or Orbis. So that title could easily be replace by PS4 demo footage revealed by any other fanboy writer at any other gaming site. It would still be INNACURATE

Ah, there we go.... GTX680. Anyone heard MS was running a NVIDIA solution? No? Me neither!

Let's be clear, I am not denying this level of graphics could not be achieved on xbox 720, I am simply pointing out that this tech demo is NOT a xbox 720 demo reveal as suggested by the title or the "examiner" article.

A more accurate title would be NEXT GENERATION DEMO REVEALED. No PS4, No Xbox 720
