EA isn't making another Medal of Honor in the near future.

EA has pulled Medal of Honor “out of the rotation.” During an earnings call for the third quarter of its 2013 fiscal year today, EA COO Peter Moore explained that the series encountered poor commercial and critical reception, leading to the decision.“We are taking Medal of Honor out of the rotation,” Moore said, calling Medal of Honor Warfighter an “obvious miss.” Moore pointed to slow sales for the entire industry as well as “poor critical and commercial reception” for Warfighter as reasons for the series decline, calling reviews “lower than it deserved.”
“This one is behind us now,” Moore said. “We are taking Medal of Honor out of the rotation, and have a plan to bring year-over-year continuity to our shooter offerings.”
“Frankly, we missed on Medal of Honor,” added EA Labels president Frank Gibeau, "and we take responsibility for that.”

Peter Moore has announced that EA has decided to take Medal of Honor "out of the rotation." Considering how poor the games were received, I'm not really that shocked. I enjoyed the previous Medal of Honor but Warfighter was honestly too buggy for me to enjoy. I guess it leave the door open for another franchise.

I can't believe how these developers develop games. The worst 2 games in my entire life I have ever seen were one, Medal Of Honor and two, was Turning Point. Medal of Honor was created for the PS3 the most powerfull console on this earth. The game it seems playing on SNES and oh my God. The control of the main charcter and sniper are terrible. Its incredible how EA didn't notice that or just avoided it. And they are expecting people will buy Medal of Honor again.

I bought the second and truly enjoyed the campaign, the multiplayer not so much. But to be honest the main reason I bought this is to get me a BF4 beta spot.

I have great memories of the first one on PS1, the music was so intense, really on par with multi million $ movies. Sad thing that this license that had least had respect for historical events has to die.

Make it unique, not the same old.
EA should butt out of the development and let the developers make a game with having someone whispering " make it like cod" in their ear.

I'm sure most people did. In my opinion though, it's kind of sad to see demos and betas for other games being the main reason people purchase a certain title.

Well im not suprised 1 bit by this after all the bad reviews during the Release of Warfighter, an so many saying the game had loads of bugs ect ect this made me fall off my line an not buying the game! Well done to EA at sucking its what they do best tbh plus the first MOH for ps3/360 was pretty average if im honest wasnt the best but certanily did ok.

EA are trying to capture the market what Activision are doing with Call of Duty series for example treyarch/Infinty ward & Sledgehammer games meaning where EA trys to do the same with Battlefield & MOH. but its completely failed as i said im not surprised 1 bit by it. EA are a joke of a company which makes games thats are un-finished with glitches/bugs in them! they dont care for fans but money in pockets!

Yeah EA has the opportunity to make something positive out of this instead of canning it. Go back to what made the series. WW2 needs to be revisited. It has been almost completely ignored this gen. We've seen too much from current era war. I would soak up any WW2 game that had potential.

IMO the reviews were harsh on war fighter. I enjoyed the SP campaign and logged around 30hrs online. Thought it was great.

The game wasn't bad I just had a bunch of issues with bugs. The reviews were a bit harsh imo too. They didn't like the first so they hated the second even worse.

The MP was very fun for me in 1. Only issue i had with it was the players blended into the environment too much. I guess it could have also just been bad lighting. But it was fun nonetheless.
