Did you start saving money for PS4?

Well, for me I can't save no dam money. Iam a big spender and everytime I have tried to save money. I have ended up using them Thanks God I do construction and we work for 8 or 9 months which I do make good money and I don't think I will have a problem to purchase the PS4. With the PS3 I have had a little problem at the time I have had 1600 dollars only and the PS3 cost was 670 and my mom helped me by giving me 350 and my sister 100. But this time things got changed. My friend he started saving money for the PS4 and I told him you are crazy lol.

Nope not yet, most likely I will start to save after I go to Prime on labor day weekend. I have a decent amount in my bank account right now. Not a fortune but just enough to get a PS4 and a couple of games. But that's it.

Well, good luck my friend with the saving. But I think the PS4 will cheaper than PS3 and Iam assuming it will cost around 450 which is not bad.

Isn't it a bit early to start saving? I mean we dont even know what games are releasing yet. I'd be kind of pissed if I saved up $600 for a console that had no games that interested me at launch, when I could of spent that money for other things.

Once we know what sorts of games we'll see, then and only then, will I start to be excited and saving my money. Like I did with the PS3, I can easily wait a year or two before I get one.

Even when we know the lineup usually one or two get delayed for release. So, while it's a good general idea I wouldn't count on it too much. For some people they don't have a large amount of money so saving up early is a good idea for them.

I haven't saved up specifically for it, but if t came out tomorrow I could afford it plus 2 years extra warranty and a couple games. Just need to maintain that extra savings :P

Nope, but I have been saving 'surplus' for a while, so I do have enough capital to get one when time comes.

It'll only be around $400, not so much as to need to save for it.

Hell when my HDD crapped out on me back in the summer I just jumped on ebay and grabbed a $200 SSD.

You are right but for some people like my friend. They do save money and for me, I can't.

Thats good. Yeah, me to. I do bring around 2800 a month when I will start working so, the 400 or 500 its not a big problem for me.

No need to save money for the ps3. Too many unused credits at the game shop. I have like €300 worth of credit at the moment. I'll probably have even more by the time the ps4 is out.

I don't start saving up for anything till 1 month before it comes out. If I can pre-order it a few months early, I will randomly put money towards the console each time I visit Gamestop. I did that with the Wii U and when it finally released, I owed like $40 left. I drop like $20 on the pre-order each time I visit the store.

You obviously don't get paid monthly then
I'm gonna start now but with all the games coming out this year it does kinda make it hard, I've got 5 games this month alone, Sony would be shooting themselves in the foot if they announce too late and release to soon, we need details now for any sane person to even think about buying it this year
As much as I'd like PS4 as soon as, I'd prefer it come next year when PS3 releases aren't so strong

I do get paid monthly. I build decks and the builders only pay out at the end of the month.

Buying a PS4 would slash my monthly wages in half and that on a good month
But I suppose its down to your wage and pay outs

    Ohhhhh, I do pretty well

I can build 1 deck and pay for the PS4 and some games. But I do have a house, wife, 6 kids, and 2 vehicle payments to take care of first. So essentially I do need to save up for expensive toys.
