With the PS3 I have had a little problem at the time I have had 1600 dollars only and the PS3 cost was 670 and my mom helped me by giving me 350 and my sister 100

Nope not yet, most likely I will start to save after I go to Prime on labor day weekend. I have a decent amount in my bank account right now. Not a fortune but just enough to get a PS4 and a couple of games. But that's it.

Paid $800 for PS3(thank You Ebay) so I won't be complaining too much about the price.

Isn't it a bit early to start saving? I mean we dont even know what games are releasing yet. I'd be kind of pissed if I saved up $600 for a console that had no games that interested me at launch, when I could of spent that money for other things.
Once we know what sorts of games we'll see, then and only then, will I start to be excited and saving my money. Like I did with the PS3, I can easily wait a year or two before I get one.

Even when we know the lineup usually one or two get delayed for release. So, while it's a good general idea I wouldn't count on it too much. For some people they don't have a large amount of money so saving up early is a good idea for them.

No, I bring home about £1000 a month and I only have about £200 worth of bills a month so I'll easy be able to afford it.

Nope, but I have been saving 'surplus' for a while, so I do have enough capital to get one when time comes.

Ohhh loool.
You are right but for some people like my friend. They do save money and for me, I can't.
Thats good. Yeah, me to. I do bring around 2800 a month when I will start working so, the 400 or 500 its not a big problem for me.
I know man same here loool.
Thats cool man.

I don't start saving up for anything till 1 month before it comes out. If I can pre-order it a few months early, I will randomly put money towards the console each time I visit Gamestop. I did that with the Wii U and when it finally released, I owed like $40 left. I drop like $20 on the pre-order each time I visit the store.

You obviously don't get paid monthly then
I'm gonna start now but with all the games coming out this year it does kinda make it hard, I've got 5 games this month alone, Sony would be shooting themselves in the foot if they announce too late and release to soon, we need details now for any sane person to even think about buying it this year
As much as I'd like PS4 as soon as, I'd prefer it come next year when PS3 releases aren't so strong
