Ps3 is indeed better, curious how the framerates and that stack up. Those comments amuse me though.. one guy is on about us needing new consoles. Does he not know whats in store for this year? lol

Saw a few complaints in the beta thread and wondered how bad it looks so now I know but to be honest the PC version isnt much better.

I think and hope the image quality improves when the full game is released.

I've actually played both betas and theyre pretty identical. Anybody trying to claim one looking better than the other either hasnt played both or is a fanboy. Crytek has achieved console parity with this one. And those screenshots are so poor quality I dont know how anybody can tell anything by them.

Yeah I prefer the 360 controller for shooters and racers and DS3 for action,RPGS and fighting games.

I'm sure they look identical while playing but calling people fanboys if they see what is blatantly in the comparison shots is.......well fanboyish, especially for one that likes to post comparisons

Some pictures CLEARLY show the ps3 has better textures, one picture shows the tree on the 360 is missing/the background is not as defined.

Textures are obviously better when looking at the pictures.

Playing the ACTUAL game I i agree you wont be able to tell the different (just like how every, yes EVERY ( except mafia 2), multiplat game i have played on the ps3 looks/plays identical to the 360 version, even when the screenshots show the 360 is superior, funny how it's different when the table is turned ey

pictures 2,4,5,8,10 and 11 on the first page show this clearly.

Now comparing this to KZ3/U4/HALO 4/ GEARS shows crysis is far from the king of graphics on the consoles ( not even that great on the PC)

Wish I could dislike posts. Rad, just cause someone can spot the difference in a comparison screenshot article doesnt make them fanboys. I could give two shits which console is graphcially better, I prefer my dualshock 3, and my friends list. but that article shows the beta on PS3 has the graphical edge.

I only tried the 360 one last night for about an hour. I like it. I'm sticking with it because i can't stand using the ds3 controller for games like this.

Yes the screens are blurry, but you can clearly see the tree is missing the leaves unlike the ps3, the walls are very noticeably low res, does not look as detailed so to say ( in game, it will be different i am sure)

Those shots are just horrible on both versions. Unlike those I "discredited" I have actually played both betas. Other people on other forums are also saying what I am who have also played both betas. I'll just wait for DF to do a real and detailed comparison like they usually do.

I found both beta's to be incredibly samey, Also i thought both beta's were crap! However will be buying it for the single player and on 360 purely because it's a far better pad for shooters.
