The only game that could make me buy xbox is Alan Wake 2 but all alan wake games game to steam so I hope the sequel comes to pc aswell

I understand what you are saying, but there is usually nothing polished about launch year titles. The notion that Sony is sticking to standard hardware means developers are going to deliver games a whole lot easier. Consider all the work that had been done to make engines cross-platform last gen. You know the ground-work for this happening has been a long time in the making. I'm surprised you're not onto it more, actually.

The fact that Sony is rumored to be going with a more standard setup is great news. Hopefully we won't have those years of the learning curve like before.

Im not expecting top of the line from day one for sure. Although i don't think it will be the multi year process for devs to start getting excellent results unlike the PS3. It took a lot time for devs to start executing the system to its fullest.

Yeah...serious. No, I don't know specifics on hardware. Have another friend who worked at SOE at the time who also said the initial dev kits were out about the same time. And yes I know, the whole "my friend's uncles roommate said" syndrome. I'm not trying to claim anything outrageous.

I think if they did that I would definitely subscribe to the PS+ service! Right now I just don't find enough stuff to justify the subscription cost...
