Agree/Disagree?
It's honestly not a reach IMO. It makes sense if you think about it. As you said freeing up resources.

Canīt wait. Bring it on Sony. I hope the rumors about the next Xbox (always online, no second hand games) does nīt effect the PS4. I dare you Sony if u go the same route.

Oh I boycott both systems next gen if they do that. I'll spend the money beefing up my PC.

Yeah, if Sony jumps on board with cray cray DRM, then I'm going to be a PC gamer only.

    Until then..

To be honest from the sounds of things its gonna be the same as the online activation codes but for the whole game, they most likely sell the passes too

Hehe ya NeoGAF is going crazy. Funny GIFīs flooding their forum. Kazified they call it or so. Just hilarious.

I think itīs because Kaz said that they want to wait until Microsoft shows their vision of next gen and then boom Sony announced the Playstation Meeting way before E3.

Well less than two weeks left. I hope that it won't feel like 13 months waiting for this event to finally happen.

I fully support Sony stamping down on secondhand games, if they decide to do this I will still support them.

If they cut off $20 from the price, then I can see why someone would support them.

Sony also needs to give you the ability to re-download a game an infinite amount of times. There's currently a limit of 5 times, right?

No there's not. Its a common misunderstanding among people. That 5 limit was the device activations, so basically you can now have 1 console and 1 handheld activated to your account. It means you can't download your games on more than those consoles

You can download infinite times on those 2 devices

You can download an infinite number of times to systems your psn is registered to. Your PSN used to be able to be registered to 5 systems at the same time, but has been lowered to 2. But you can clear what systems you are registered to on their website, in case your ps3 breaks or you sell it, etc.

edit: damn Itachi beat me to it.

I don't know man. It will feel weird throwing played games to the garbage. I guess recycling them might feel a bit better but it will still be throwing away.

So unlike with physical copies, I can't play my copy on a friend's system?

I don't throw my games away, I keep them. Just like you wouldn't throw your movies away after watching them.

The main reason I support this though s because I HATE the game stores making money from it. Taking money off the developers.

Gamefly would go under if that happens. Not something I really want to think about. This better turn out to be false.
