This is my favorite concept by far right now, I could only wish the real thing looks as awesome as this, minus the, IMO, out of place blue 4.

this event will showcase several of Sony upcoming products from android phones to tablets and networking. I doububt if any games would be shown Sony may save the games unveiling at an upcoming gaming events. The reason why im saying this is because i read an article in New York Times that said Kaz Hirai has been unable to convince investors that a turn around is imminite. so this will be huge to convince investors.

uuummmmm...Fried Beer iis a reality.

Do you really think the event is going to "showcase" android phones? I mean come on. we all know what this event is about. They will hit on the other points but there's no mystery that this event is to "showcase" the ps4. Call egg in my face if it doesn't really wouldn't hurt my feelings.
I don't think they will show all their cards but this is inevitably a showcase for the ps4 and all other points are just side notes.

Ok maybe I jumped to conclusions to what you were saying. I think Sony will try to combine mobile systems with gaming systems this gen. with the ever changing consumer you have to stay up with the trends. In that same process you can't lose your identity. So in turn mixing mobile devices with in home devices isn't a long stretch at all. I'm just ready for the 20th so we have some much needed clarity on the scope of what the ps4 will do.

Prepare for meltdowns if these next gen console rumors are true. Phase 1: Denial. Phase 2: Mask a lie under "opinion" vs a fact. Phase 3: Bring up the PS3/360 era when it has nothing to do with the subject. Phase 4: Say that the power gap doesn't matter but constantly defend the weaker specs.
^Old sig. Predicted before both reveals^

All I know is:
Reportedly beastly console + Sony's 1st party legion + Gaikai + Vita + PS+ + SEN (Sony movies, music and games all in one service) + PlayStation certified android devices + PS Mobile = Big badass Sony PlayStation ecosystem with Sony's juggernaut entertainment business sending all sorts of good shit into its various sexy devices.
Over the years, Sony has been slowly moving the above pieces into place and has amazing potential. What excites me the most is that Sony has not for one second deviated away from gamers. 7th generation upheld the consistency set by the 6th and the 5th. I have absolutely no doubt that Sony is about to unleash SEN into all of its devices via the cloud delivering the past 3 generations of content to augment its 8th using a price modal that will reflect the philosophy reflected with such initiatives as the Instant Game Collection, the recent Collections line of series bundles and free-to-play games.
Wait till the PS4 uses its überbrain to add all sorts of currently impossible shit to Vita.

Well Vita has not had a huge impact on the game space, so I don't see any internet meltdown. While those would be nice implementations, I wouldn't consider them very newsworthy compared to PS3 updates or PS4 release information.
You mention 4G on the Vita. What I would like to see is 5ghz support for WIFI for the PS4. More and more people are choosing to go wireless over wired now. Wireless TV's, iPads, iPods, Nooks, Kindles, Phones, game consoles, PC's, Macs, laptops, fridges with touch screens, garage door openers, handheld game devices, and on. They are swallowing up the home bandwidth and IP addresses...and actually causing connections to lag on game consoles since we are hosting the games. I want to see more bandwidth dedication from our gaming machines, and more people moving to the newer routers.
