Sony: "See the Future" February 20th, 2013

Yeah IGN was very open about their distaste for PS3 in the beginning. They barely covered anything unless it was massive news and never gave it much credit but they have gotten less biased over the past few years. I stopped going to ign for a while because it basically turned into an xbox fanboy site. They have turned it around tremendously actually giving each console's equal coverage.

I remember that as well, that was one of the reasons I dropped my subscription that I had there, they wouldn't even give the PS3 a chance...back then it was fanboyism at its worst!

It's never good when a gaming site that is supposed to cover all things gaming gets one sided. I honestly think that was when I got heavy on the forums here because it was one of the best places to get info for PS3. A lot of sites took that same route because the Xbox was more popular at the time.

They seem to report more on PlayStation than the other consoles now though. Their Playstation team is much more prominent with people like Greg Miller and Collin Moriarty, they are always putting "Playstation Conversations" up on Youtube. They are some of my favorite game journalists.

That is one reason I like this forum, even though it is the PlayStation Universe, for the most part people on here can have a civil conversation about both sides!

That place looks elegant, they're aiming to make an impact but I really do hope that they've learned their past issues and bring over more then one next gen console ready just in case the first one gives them problems.
