I think having any chat feature require a fee is stupid, because those features require interaction with others to be useful. So it's only as valuable as the amount of friends you have that pay as well. So if no friends buy the feature, you're paying for nothing.

It would make no sense for them to charge for x-game voice chat also because Vita already has it for free.

Fucking hell, I don't usually go in for the hype...but right now I am literally having trouble containing my excitement.

If this is a sign of Sony's new advertising department lets hope they get even better, the world is talking. It shows how bullshit MS's "warning" was. This announcement is on the homepage of the BBC website as well as being advertised during live football matches and even the GAME website has been taken over for the announcement !!
